It’s A Disappointing Decision – Mumbai Indians
I started to support Mumbai Indians from the very first edition of the Indian Premier League or IPL and my love for this particular franchise was particularly due to the master blaster Sachin Tendulkar. However, the support and the love for the franchise continued for the past years and the same will continue till the end of either my life or the league.
My support for Mumbai Indians was always there whether the team was in the winning stage or at the stage when the entire game of the tournament was lost by the franchise. But the newly taken decision of the management is really disappointing one.
I understand that there is a process behind the scenes for the future success of the team. However, replacing someone surprisingly who is the captain and the person who took Mumbai Indians to the finals the most number of times and took the IPL trophies 6 times, is not a good decision.
The calibre and potential of Rohit Sharma as a captain are remarkable and we have seen the same on several occasions. Rohit Sharma was able to guide the team to victory even with the small number of runs in the bank with his sharp cricketing mind.
I still remember A final match against Chennai Super Kings where the boys in yellow Jersey had the advantage and it looked like a comfortable victory for CSK but the sharp decision-making capability and impressive fielding arrangement made Mumbai Indians beat Chennai Super Kings by making Mahendra Singh Dhoni fail to finish the game in final.
The new decision of appointing Hardik Pandya as the captain of Mumbai Indians is really disappointing and that is showing on the Instagram handle of Instagram as well. The franchise lost millions of followers in the past few hours.
Mumbai Indians will be disappointed with this particular decision in the upcoming season as well. The decision of Mumbai Indians will never stop my support and love for the franchise but the decision is really disappointing and painful.
Dear Rohit Sharma, your leadership quality and your capability will be remembered by each and every fan of Mumbai Indians and you will be our captain forever. Thank you so much for the amazing memories and my love and support for you will be forever too.
