No Its Not Our Story
Where is the censor board’s “scissors” when we actually need them? When a real story was showcased in L2: Empuraan, it was heavily edited; even when a goddess’s name was used in a movie title, the name had to be changed. There are countless examples where the censor board used its scissors unnecessarily, demanding edits that destroyed the film’s meaning and caused significant release delays.
However, a new film is now arriving that claims to tell the story of “God’s Own Country,” Kerala. No, sir, that is not the story of Kerala.
Look at the story of the “Little Angel,” Alin Sherin Abraham. Look at the incredible unity we witnessed during the pandemic and in the face of nature’s brutality in Wayanad. That is the real Kerala.
Ingredients of hate will never work here because this is God’s Own Country, and the people know the truth as well as the fake faces.
These fake stories only work within your “WhatsApp University,” where you have built a factory of propaganda. Just remember, the people of Kerala stand united like a solid rock.
